Fun Activities to do in Missouri.
If a ranking of the US most popular states was done, anyone can tell those which will be at the top and the ones that will go to the bottom. You cannot expect Missouri to be in the top five but it doesnt mean it will be at the bottommost part either. It is ranked at the 31st position. However, this does not mean there isnt much to see in Missouri. You will have it all in Missouri ranging from history and natural beauty to family-friendly attractions. One of the places you should visit in Missouri is Gateway Arch, St. Louis. It will quench your curiosity as far as mid-century modern design goes. This museum houses a museum in it and you will also find a tram that takes only four minutes to the top. This is the tallest structure in the whole country that is man-made raising 30 feet above the ground. This arch gives every visitor some information about mid-western history. If you want to know about the founding fathers of Missouri then the museum will serve the purpose. The arch was completed in 1965 and two years later the tram ride was started. You will enjoy scenic views of up to thirty miles while on top of the arch if you go on a clear day. After your visit at the arch, you can get into a riverboat ride to experience the water travel back in the 1800s.
You should also stop at Anheuser-Busch Brewery, St. Louis. You may have seen a lot of Anheuser-Busch breweries in the country but it all goes back to St. Louis in the 1800s. There are so many activities at St. Louis Anheuser-Busch factory every day including brewing classes, a beer museum tour, a brewery tour, and even Biergarten. If you wish to see the Clydesdales in their paddocks then you can have that as well. The brewery tour will take up to 45 minutes. You will be offered small amounts of the beer to sample not to forgetting visiting the Clydesdales stables. After the brewery tour is wrapped out, you can proceed to the Old Lyon Schoolhouse too. There are more than four hundred artifacts about the history of beer making. If you fancy a German-style restaurant then the Biergarten will be it for you because it has indoor as well as outdoor seating. The beer is always flowing at this restaurant and the menu is also rich with items like pulled pork sandwiches and also bratwurst plates. Another thing you should include in your itinerary is the Silver Dollar City Theme Park, Branson. Besides being the oldest amusement park in the state of Missouri, it is also the Largest.
